Mayaka began not in a studio or a plan, but in quiet curiosity. What started in 2022 as a hobby, beads spread across a small table, long evenings spent exploring colour and form, slowly grew into something deeply intentional.

Anointing Lukola, Mayaka was born from a love of making. At first, pieces were created for personal joy and exploration. It wasn’t about launching a brand, it was about experimenting with shape, bead, and colour until something felt alive.

As friends began to notice, and strangers started asking where pieces came from, the hobby began to take shape. Mayaka became more than something made, it became something shared.

For Mayaka, luxury isn’t about price or flash. Luxury is in the deliberate journey — taking time with each piece, choosing every detail with intention, and creating designs that feel thoughtful and grounded. Every bead is placed with care, every silhouette is developed with purpose, and nothing is rushed.
